Abstract

To improve the picking efficiency, reduce labor, the cost of picking bananas, and the disability accident, etc., a kind of guide roller banana picking machine was designed. The key components of mobile, clamping and cutting devices were verified met the requirement of banana picking process. mechanization of banana fruit string picking was realized. The picking efficiency could be increased by 90% by using the mobile banana picking machine, compared with the traditional manual method.
