Abstract
[Objective] A green walnut peeling machine integrating peeling,cleaning,and grading was designed,and the strength,stiffness,and vibration characteristics of the roller shaft and link plate,the key components in the machine,were analyzed to determine its working condition parameters.[Methods] Mechanical analysis was conducted to determine the force of the green walnut peeling process,determine the rotational speeds of the roller and link plate,and calculate the roller power.Solidworks was used to model the whole machine and key parts,and the roller shaft and link plate entities were imported into Ansys Workbench for static analysis and modal analysis.[Results] At the roller shaft rotational speed of 300 r/min,the intact machine showed the maximum deformation of 0.003 mm and the maximum stress of 60.62 MPa.At the link plate rotational speed of 120 r/min,the intact machine showed the maximum deformation of 0.352 mm and the maximum stress of 168.97 MPa,which were in line with the design requirements.The working frequency of the roller shaft and link plate was much smaller than its first six -order inherent frequency,and thus resonance damage would not occur in the working process.[Conclusion] The strength and stiffness of the roller shaft and link plate meet the requirements of actual production,and no resonance damage will occur under normal working conditions.
